Oil Coolers

Donam oil cooler
Oil Cooler

Air-cooled oil cooler that automatically manages hydraulic oil temperature

It switches on and off by itself according to the set temperature, keeping the hydraulic oil at the right temperature to protect the equipment and preserve ride comfort.

Causes of heat generation in hydraulic elevators

  • Pressure loss due to internal friction, viscous resistance and leakage inside the hydraulic pump
  • Pressure drop in the controls and piping
  • Pressure loss from passing through pressure relief and pressure-reducing valves
  • Rise in hydraulic oil temperature due to causes such as losses from motor efficiency

Effects of temperature on the elevator

  • A rise in temperature means the oil viscosity decreases, and decreased viscosity means the control valve does not control accurately.
  • A rise in oil temperature has an adverse effect on the hydraulic motor.
  • Reduced viscosity of the hydraulic oil means the oil must be changed sooner.
Why an oil cooler is needed We recommend installing an oil cooler to protect the equipment, extend the service life of the hydraulic oil and maintain a comfortable ride.
