Troubleshooting Videos

* In = right, Out = left
1

Elevator moves up because of a solenoid A problem

Turn adjustment #5 all the way in

2

Solenoid A: not energized or voltage too low

3

Solenoid A: tube not fully tightened

Tighten solenoid A sufficiently

4

Solenoid A: dirt between needle AN and seat AS, or damage

Clean or replace the needle and seat

5

Adjustment #2 not opened enough

Open adjustment #2

6

Adjustment #1 opened too far

(Pilot pressure not sufficient)

Open adjustment #1 while the pump is running

7

Pressure relief valve S set too low

Set the pressure relief valve higher (inward)

8

Adjustment #8 turned in too far

(Car touches the buffer)

Turn adjustment #8 out

10

If, when adjustment #1 is turned with the pump running, the pressure does not rise above 5 bar even after a smaller bypass valve has been inserted, the pump may be at fault

11

If the elevator travels upward at full speed, it is a solenoid B problem

Turn adjustment #3 all the way in.

12

Solenoid B not energized or voltage too low

13

Solenoid B tube not fully tightened

14

Solenoid B: dirt between needle AN and seat AS, or damage

Clean or replace the needle and seat

15

Adjustment #1 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #1 outward

16

Adjustment #2 turned out too far

Turn adjustment #2 inward

17

Bypass flow guide U too small

(Slot too narrow)

Replace the flow guide with one with a wider slot

18

Oil leaking from O-ring UO of bypass valve U

Replace the O-ring

19

Solenoid B does not de-energize

Lift the coil and check the magnetic pull

The slow-down switch may be set too high

20

Adjustment #3 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #3 outward

Turn adjustment #2 inward

21

Oil leaking from O-ring UO of bypass valve U

Replace the O-ring

22

Adjustment #4 loosened too far

Turn adjustment #4 inward until the leveling speed is about 0.05 m/sec

23

Solenoid A de-energizes too late

Lift the coil and check the pull

Check the switch position in the shaft

24

Adjustment #5 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #5 outward

25

Adjustment #1 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #1 outward

27

Bypass flow guide U too small

(Slot too narrow)

Replace with a flow guide with a wider slot

28

Solenoids A and B swapped

Swap the positions of solenoids A and B

30

Adjustment #4 does not work

Replace the O-ring

31

Adjusting valve (relief valve) set too low

Set the adjusting valve (relief valve) higher

32

Solenoid D not energized or voltage too low

Lift the coil and check the magnetic pull

33

Adjustment #6 tightened in too far

Turn adjustment #6 outward

34

Adjustment #8 turned out too far

Carefully turn adjustment #8 inward

*Caution: this may cause danger during operation

35

Oil leaking from O-ring UO of down valve X

Replace the O-ring

36

Solenoid C not energized or voltage too low

Lift the coil and check the magnetic pull

37

Adjustment #7 tightened in too far

Turn adjustment #7 outward

38

Down valve flow guide X too small

Check the size

39

Solenoids C and D swapped in position

Lift the coil and check the magnetic pull

40

Solenoid D not energized or voltage too low

41

Adjustment #9 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #9 inward until the leveling speed is about 0.05 m/sec

42

Spring 9F of adjustment #9 broken

Replace adjustment #9 completely

43

Adjustment #8 turned in too far

The filter of adjustment #8 is clogged or adjustment #8 is damaged

Turn adjustment #8 outward by about 1/2 (about half a turn)

Clean the filter

Replace adjustment #8

44

Adjustment #9 turned out too far

Turn adjustment #9 inward until the leveling speed is about 0.05 m/sec

45

Solenoid valve C: dirt between needle DN and seat DS, or damage

Clean, or replace the needle and seat

46

Oil leaking from inner O-ring FO of flange 7F

Replace the O-ring

47

Solenoid D tube not fully tightened

Fully tighten the solenoid D tube

48

Adjustment #8 turned in too far

Turn adjustment #8 outward by about 1/2 (about half a turn)

49

Solenoid C contaminated and not working properly

Clean or replace it

50

Adjustment #9 contaminated and not working properly

Clean or replace it

51

Solenoid valve D: dirt between needle DN and seat DS, or damage

Clean, or replace the needle and seat.

52

Oil leaking from O-ring XO of down valve X

Replace the O-ring

53

Oil leaking from O-ring VO of check valve V

Replace the check valve

54

Oil leaking from O-ring WO of check valve V
