Solenoid Operation and Configuration

1. For upward travel, solenoids A and B are energized at the same time as the motor starts

For downward travel, solenoids C and D are energized

In manual operation (re-leveling run), solenoid A is energized at the same time as the motor starts

2. With star-delta starting, energizing of solenoids A and B must begin at the changeover from star to delta (△).

Star → Delta (△) + A + B

3. At the start of upward travel, solenoids A and B must be energized at the same time.

Even so, the car does not start abruptly.

(A soft start occurs automatically inside the valve; if it does not, adjust the valve.)

4. When stopping after upward travel (when landing), the time relay must be set so that the motor runs for another 0.5 seconds after solenoid A is de-energized.

Only with this electrical arrangement can adjustment #5 work properly.
