Pressure Switch
1. Purpose and operating principle
The pressure switch prevents the elevator from starting downward travel when the elevator's rated load has been exceeded.
The pressure switch converts a set pressure circuit into an electrical switching action.
It is controlled according to the pressure flow of the motor-pump and valve.
When the pressure in the already-set pressure line increases, the force pushing the spring acts on the internal piston rod, and the piston rod action is transmitted to the micro switch. When the set pressure is reached, the micro switch operates immediately, and when the reset pressure is reached, it returns to its normal position.
2. Types
+ High-pressure switch (Type 180/100): operating range: 10~100 bar
The switch operating pressure is adjusted with a screw (pos1), clockwise (higher) or counterclockwise (lower pressure).
Low-pressure switch (Type 180/100): operating range: 5~50 bar
This switch is set to 7.5 bar at the factory, and the switch operates as soon as the pressure rises.
Adjust it clockwise (higher) or counterclockwise (lower).
