Multi-Stage Cylinders
Independently developed and supplied since April 2008Cylinder synchronization is widely used not only in elevators but also in sensitive applications, and Donam Engineering has independently developed multi-stage cylinder synchronization and has been supplying it since April 2008.
In a multi-stage cylinder, the lower and upper stages must move up and down at the same time.
When the stages move simultaneously
- When the stages move simultaneously, the hydraulic pressure and flow are constant, so the speed is constant and users feel stable.
When the stages do not move simultaneously
- If only the lower stage moves first and the upper stage moves afterwards, vibration or shock can be felt when the lower stage is fully extended.
- If they do not move simultaneously, the speed becomes slower or faster and users may feel uneasy.
