Bypass

Name: pressure control valve adjustment S

Green

Function

Close the shut-off valve and adjust until the specified value is obtained. Then lock it with the bolt.

Once the elevator specifications are decided and the delivery flow is calculated, a valve matching the specifications is shipped → when the magnetic force of coil A is cut, the car does not move even if the motor is running.

After the pump starts and coils A and B are magnetized, the car does not start immediately but stays stopped for 1–2 seconds. Adjuster #1 adjusts this stop time.

Upward acceleration

Green

Function

When the pump is running and the coils are magnetized, the car's acceleration can be adjusted with #2 → if the acceleration with adjuster #2 is satisfactory, do not adjust it any further.

Adjuster #2 affects adjusters #3 and #4.

#3

Upward deceleration

Green

Function

Adjust #3 until satisfactory deceleration is obtained. Then fix the safety switch. This energizes the coil to obtain a creep distance of 3–5cm. The travel speed per second equals the distance between the safety switch and the landing switch. At V=0.5m/sec, the distance is 0.5m

When coil B is de-magnetized while coil A is magnetized, the car decelerates according to the setting of adjuster #3.

#4

Upward landing

Green

Function

Adjusts the creep speed. V = 5~7cm/sec

When coil A is magnetized and coil B is de-magnetized, the landing speed changes according to the setting of adjuster #4.

#5

Upward stop

Green

Function

At the landing floor, when coil B is de-magnetized, coil A is de-magnetized → if the pump is kept running 0.5 seconds longer via a time relay, the car stops smoothly according to the setting of adjuster #5 → the speed is not raised further by the adjuster but is determined by the pump delivery flow.

Use adjuster #5 to land the car smoothly.

Downward acceleration

Green

Function

When coil C and coil D are magnetized, downward acceleration is set by adjusting adjuster #6.

Adjuster #8 affects adjuster #6. Readjust adjuster #6 if necessary.

Green

Function

When coil C and coil D are magnetized, the maximum downward speed of the car is determined by adjuster #7.

Downward deceleration

Red

Function

Soft downward deceleration test (soft stop test)
When coil C and coil D are de-magnetized at full downward speed, the car must come to a gradual, smooth stop within 20cm.

When coil C is de-magnetized while coil D is magnetized, the car decelerates according to the setting of adjuster #8. If the deceleration is satisfactory, do not adjust adjuster #8 any further.

Adjuster #6 may then need to be readjusted.

#9

Downward landing

Red

Function

When coil C is de-magnetized and coil D is magnetized, downward landing is adjusted with adjuster #9 → when coil C is de-magnetized the car stops according to the setting of adjuster #8, so no further adjustment is needed.
