Control Valve

Preparing for Control Valve Adjustment

1. Part names: numbers and letters are marked on the front of the control valve together with the speed curve.

→ The green section adjusts the car's upward travel.

→ The red section adjusts only the car's downward travel.

2. Valve adjustment is most effective when the oil viscosity is low, that is, when the oil is cold, while running the empty car.

The best adjustment results are obtained when the oil viscosity is 33~152cSt(mm²/s).

3. Tools required for valve adjustment: hex L-wrenches (3mm, 5mm, 8mm), spanner (17mm)

4. Valve adjustment is most effective when done in order of the adjustment numbers.

5. Adjusting upward travel does not affect downward travel. Adjusting downward travel does not affect upward travel.

6. It is most effective to finish adjusting one direction (upward or downward travel) completely before adjusting the other (it is best to adjust upward travel first and then downward travel).
